Nordic Engineering Inc. Services: Topographic Survey

In obtaining a building permit for your project, you will be required to provide a Site Plan, also known as a Topographic Survey which will have to be stamped and signed by a registered Civil Engineer, or a Licensed Land Surveyor. The topo. survey is the basis of all new construction. Architects and Engineers need this information in order to design the new structures and their accouterments. The topo. will provide designers with the topography, or lay of the land; showing contour lines which determine how drainage flows over the property. The topo. also shows existing conditions and improvements such as buildings, driveways, trees, utilities, decks, sidewalks, and more.
